Random thoughts about me

I totally was not going to do this, I was REALLY going to work today, really, but then I read Kelli’s blog and she had done it, and I felt guilty for not doing my duty since Katie put me on her list.  So, here I go.

Remove the blog in the top spot from the following list and bump everyone up one place. Then add your blog to the bottom slot, like so.

for those of you who are on here, don’t feel any pressure to do it, do it only if you feel like it.  YOu’re only getting picked because you have blogs.  and I’m curious about you.

1. Kirk
2. Shelly
3. Zydeco Fish
4. KTS
5. Julie

Then you get to select five people to pass the love on to so they can do this meme, like so:
1. Tim
2. Travis
3. Ian
4. Erin (like she’ll ever check her blog)
5. Bill (well, he has a blog on LGT, but he never checks it either.)

What were you doing 10 years ago?
Hmm.  February of my freshman year of college.  I was living in Kinsolving dorm at UT, and I was probably in my 10am Biology class- assuming it was a wednesday, monday or friday, (or I’d arranged with my friend down the hall to go and I was asleep).  I was bemoaning my single existence and I think my friend Travis (NOT the one above), had decided he no longer wanted to be friends with me, so I was trying to figure out why he was avoiding me.  He was a bit of a drama queen and tended to make life a lot like high school.  Ooh, and if I was in my 10am Biology class, afterwards I would have walked to my 11am Acting class with Stephen “James Earl Jones’ brother” Gerald and I would have had a cigarette.  God, I miss cigarettes.  But I digress.

What were you doing 1 year ago?
Probably sitting at this same damn desk.  I was producing “I Am Alpha” at the time, so I was probably using my work time doing stuff for that.  I was also probably drinking coffee.  Damn, I miss coffee.

Five snacks you enjoy (I’m not really a snacker, but here’s some things I’ve eaten as snacks and enjoyed):

  1. Graham crackers with peanut butter and bananas

  2. Combos (not that I’ve had them in years)

  3. Green Apples

  4. Cadbury chocolate bars (my lifesaver in England)

  5. Yogurt covered pretzels

Five songs to which you know all the lyrics:
It would be easier to name 5 songs to which I DON’T know all the lyrics, but I’ll Just do the first 5 that come to mind:

  1. The Digital Underground “The Humpty Dance” I’m very proud of that one

  2. Spoon “The way we get by”

  3. The Cure “Last Dance”

  4. The Pixies “Where is My Mind”

  5. Almost all of the Beastie Boys’ “Paul’s Boutique” Album, which is pretty impressive because it’s very fast.
Damn, now I really want to hear these songs!

Five things you would do if you were a millionaire:

  1. Tim and I would quit our dayjobs.

  2. Buy my own theatre

  3. Pay off my house

  4. Travel to Barcelona Spain, Paris France, back to England and NYC to see lots of theatre, Scotland

  5. Take several of my closest friends on a cruise or something cool like that.

Five things you like doing:

  1. Seeing live music

  2. Seeing Theatre

  3. Watching movies

  4. Reading

  5. Playing games

Five things you would never wear again:

  1. My dad’s old jeans, several sizes too large for me, cut off and rolled up to just below my knee, with a belt to keep them on that makes the fabric all bunch up around my hips.

  2. knee-high striped socks or any knee-high hose for that matter

  3. Cure T-shirts or any other band t-shirts

  4. Bangs sprayed up so that they are 8 inches off my head

  5. Jelly bracelets

Five favorite toys:

  1. IPOD
  2. Special stereo in my car that I can hook my IPOD into and it displays the names. AND it changes color.  It’s so cool!
  3. DVR (cheap version of TIVO)
  4. Netflix (I say this counts as a toy)
  5. Digital Camera

I like the way you blame not working on ME.  :)  Katie was the one who tagged you, ya know.
