My mom came into town from out of state, and we both ran the Sunstroke this week. It was at Brushy Creek park in YankeeLand. This was a significantly harder run for me. There was a lot less shade (due in no small part to the fact that the park was halfway to Dallas), and there was a nasty monster hill with switchbacks. I slowed down on this one to 26:43:90 at a pace of 8:34/M. I haven’t been running as much though lately as I’ve been tired and sick a lot. Oh, well. Next week is at town lake, and it’s the last of the series. I’ll miss the races, but I’m definitely more motivated to get faster. I feel like such a slow poke.
